I love trying out new beauty trends that are going around, so last week I decided to try out an eyelash lifting and tinting! I loved my eyelash extensions when I had them but they were getting expensive and they didn’t last super long on me. I have naturally pretty long eyelashes anyways so getting the extensions just made it look like how my lashes appear when I wear mascara but for A LOT more expensive. The lifting and tinting process was also a lot quicker too.
The lifting process is basically like getting a perm but for your lashes and the tinting is pretty self-explanatory. I don’t know the whole process because my eyes were obviously closed but from what I felt and from the pictures, a lifter was set on my eyelids and different treatments were put on my lashes to hold them while they were getting permed. Overall, a painless and quick process. The tinting is then put on after the lifters are taken off and that sits on for a couple minutes while the tint sets in and VOILA you’re done!
The lift lasts 4-6 weeks according to my lash artist, Katie. It’s been a week since I’ve gotten them done and they still look great!
I definitely recommend this treatment if you have longer lashes to begin with, if you don’t however, I would recommend lash extensions. Take that as you will but that’s my advice. If you guys have any questions, as per usual leave them below or contact me on any of my socials.
