For those of you who don’t know what “fast fashion” is, it is mass produced clothing sold at a super discount from companies overseas such as, Shein, Romwe, Fashion Nova, etc. Believe me, I know how tempting it can be to purchase 10 items of clothing that are up-to-date with the latest fashion trends for under $100 but long term, the damage that it’s doing to the environment and the workers making these garments are extremely threatening.

Last weekend, my mom and I just needed to get away for a couple hours, so we took a day trip to Holland and Grand Haven in Michigan which is about 3 hours away from us. We packed up some snacks and brought our dog, Buddy Bean, and ventured on.

I think it’s so easy to just say you’re okay or that you’re dealing with the social distancing and quarantine but, how do you really feel? I was dealing pretty well at the beginning of everything by keeping myself busy and catching up on everything I became swamped with when it was normal. That ran its course for about a month though.
