I’ve realized at a young age how important it is to make sacrifices. Believe me when I say, there are countless times when I’ve wanted to go to a party or hang out with my friends instead of doing my homework or working on my blog or whatever it may be. The harsh reality, though, is that I need to have my priorities straight.

This summer I have learned so much about not only how to work in a professional setting but also, about myself and all that I can accomplish. I had the wonderful opportunity to be the Social Media and Communications Intern at an advertising agency in Downtown Detroit. I was pushed and challenged and have grown tremendously because of it. I thank everyone that has helped me this summer along the way. I appreciate each and every one of you. With that said, I’m happy to announce I’m staying on the team. Here’s all I’ve learned thus far.
