Dear Personal Trainers/Coaches:

I know you probably don’t have the intention of being cruel or rude when you say certain things but unfortunately they come across this way. I’m not at the gym to get a ‘summer body’ or ‘lose weight’ or ‘tone.’ I am at the gym to live a healthier lifestyle and get energy and frustrations out. I love my body the way it is now and don’t need or want a ‘summer body.’ In fact what does ‘summer body’ even mean? The body I have right now is a ‘summer body’ or ‘bikini body.’ You want to know how I know? Because if I were to put a bikini or bathing suit on right now, I would have a ‘bikini body.’ You do not know my body or what I do day-to-day nor know why I go to the gym so how about you tell me what exercises to do and I will do them to the best of my ability.

My 2019 Goals

Wow, I can’t believe it is already almost 2019! This year truly flew by and to be honest it has been one of my favorite years yet. I launched my blog, something I’ve been wanting to do for years, I traveled to some of my favorite places, I started college, and most important of all, I realized my worth and found my confidence. In order to hold myself accountable in 2019 I want to publish some of my goals for this year.
