With coloring my hair and using a lot of heat comes damage. I used to be super cheap when it came to my shampoo and conditioner and styling products, but once I started investing in the aftercare a bit more, my hair started becoming a lot healthier. The products below have really transformed my hair for the better.
OLAPLEX BOND MAINTENANCE SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER |
Olaplex is truly the best investment you could make for shampoo and conditioner. For both, it’s $60 and they last a couple months if you’re only washing your hair every couple of days. It’s patented to re-link broken bonds and strengthen your hair. I truly have noticed that my hair is silkier and stronger since starting the system.

NOT YOUR MOTHER’S ALL EYES ON ME 10-IN-1 HAIR PERFECTOR |
A leave-in conditioner and detangler is a must for hair wash days after the shower. This Not Your Mother’s product is super affordable and works wonders. It detangles, moisturizes, repairs, protects, and more for your hair. You can find it at Ulta or Target for around $7.

OLAPLEX BONDING OIL |
Another must-have product from Olaplex is their bonding oil for $30. I use this almost every day and even on dry hair because it’s so lightweight. It hydrates my hair and takes away the frizz. I like to use it before applying heat because it also doubles as a heat protectant.

BATISTE DRY SHAMPOO |
I usually go about 3 to 4 days without washing my hair so a good dry shampoo is essential to my haircare routine. Any of Batiste’s dry shampoos are great, but I like their ‘Bare’ scent and apply it on at night so it can soak in while I’m sleeping. If you have darker hair, they also have a brunette line so it doesn’t leave a white cast.
