This week, my mom and I had a little date night and went to one of Fever’s Candlelight Concerts. This one was a tribute to Taylor Swift and featured an array of her top songs. There were four musicians at the front of the stage surrounded by hundreds of candles to create a peaceful environment.
The venue was absolutely stunning. It was held at the Basilica of Ste. Anne de Detroit located near Corktown in the city. All the venues they do these Candlelight Concerts in are meant to show off the culture of the city and be affordable for everyone. My mom and I chose to do the closest seats and they were still only $50. No matter what city you’re located in, you are likely to find a concert near you. If you are not a fan of Taylor Swift, they are many other artist tributes to pick from. Coldplay, Adele, Queen, and Dua Lipa are some to name a few. I highly recommend visiting one of the Candlelight Concerts. I may even go back a second and third time.
