My Favorite Hair Care Products

Over the last year or so, my hair has endured a lot of damage from all the coloring and heat I use. Being a blonde, I try to invest in products that keep my hair vibrant, soft, and healthy. On that note as well, I try to cut back on one-time-use plastics as much as possible. I limit the amount of products I buy in plastic bottles and by washing my hair less, I limit the amount of products I use. If anyone has any plastic-free or no-waste options that they use for their hair, please let me know!

Love Beauty and Planet Muru Muru Shampoo Bar |

Shampoo bars take a while to get used to, I’m not going to lie. It takes a minute to lather up on your hair using a bar and can sometimes be hard to hold. However, they work the same as liquid shampoo, last longer, and are better for reducing your plastic use. I love this one from Love Beauty and Planet which you can find at Target. This brand has a couple to choose from but I use their Muru Muru one because it’s made for preserving colored hair and keeping it moisturized.

It’s a 10 Five Minute Hair Repair for Blondes |

On the days I do shampoo my hair, which is about once a week, I follow my wash up with this five minute treatment from It’s a 10. It prevents breakage, brassiness, deeply moisturizes my hair, and more. I run this product through my hair, lightly comb it, and clip in up while I finish up the rest of my shower routine to get the most out of the treatment.

It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin |

My hair is generally a little tangled after a shower so I use the It’s a 10 Leave-In plus Keratin treatment to get the knots out and further condition, protect, and keep my hair shiny. It smells delicious too. When I run out of the bottle I’m using now, I plan to buy the leave-in treatment specifically for blondes.

Ouai Hair Oil |

I use this Ouai Hair Oil after brushing my freshly showered hair to prevent frizz and seal any split ends I have. On days in between washes when my hair needs a little refresher and extra moisture I put a little more of this all over.

Kopari Tropical Coconut Melt|

Coconut oil masks do WONDERS for hair. It provides moisture to the max, helps will hair growth and hair loss, protects against the harmful rays of the sun, and more. I personally try to do a coconut oil treatment once a week and leave it on overnight. If you can’t leave it on overnight, I would at least recommend leaving it on for an hour or so. Regular coconut oil works but I love the Tropical Coconut Melt from Kopari. I use this as my daily lotion as well and love it.
