This year I had the pleasure of joining my favorite Femology fam for the second year of their 100 Detroit Female Bloggers campaign. For those of you who don’t know, Femology is a business lounge located in Detroit for women (they’re in the process of renovating their new location now) that focus on an inviting and open community for women to work and do their business. They also host events about once a month for women to network and grow their community, such as the 100 Detroit Female Bloggers campaign. I couldn’t have been more honored to be chosen twice. Ever since joining this uplifting community of women on the same path as me, I’ve never felt more connected to a group of women. We all look out for each other and uplift each other. My platforms have grown tremendously since connecting with Femology over a year ago.
This year the event was definitely much bigger than last year because of how much they have grown. It was held at The Fed in Clarkston, Michigan which is a little over an hour from me, so a bit of a drive but well worth it. It’s an old bank vault turned into a restaurant. The interior is just so beautiful and unique at every turn with SOOO many picture opportunities! Believe me, I took lots of pictures lol. I came with my friend Nour and we got a lot of pictures. I want to come back to this area just to walk around and explore because the area is breathtaking and so homey.
My suit I got last year from Asos for this event and just re-wore it! The dress attire was colored pantsuits. This year I styled it a bit different with a grey turtleneck and pearl accent pieces. I pulled it all together with a classic red lip.
Overall, a fun day filled with networking, love and a sense of community. Thank you to Femology for having me and hosting such an awesome event! I look forward to the next one!
