100 Detroit Female Bloggers Campaign

Last weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to attend my third Femology event. This event was held at Brooklyn Outdoor Loft which is this beautiful, total Instagram worthy venue. For those of you who don’t know, Femology is “Detroit’s first modern business lounge for women.” Meagan Ward, the owner of Femology, is quite literally changing the game. She is creating so many opportunities for women bloggers and entrepreneurs with the business lounge and all the networking events she and her team keep hosting.

This event was really special and near and dear to my heart because I was chosen to be a part of their 100 Detroit Female Bloggers Campaign. It’s so crazy to think that I just launched my blog in September and I am already getting so much positive feedback. I truly can’t thank everyone enough that has reached out to me and either congratulated me or even just liked or commented on a post. You all are the reason I continue to do this and stay consistent because believe me it has been a struggle balancing school, work, and taylerreneemay.com. But believe me when I say that it is well worth it. The amount of inspiring women I have met through Femology‘s events and just starting my blog just blows my mind. It is truly amazing what can get accomplished when women show up and support other women.

This event was an opportunity to showcase the Detroit Female bloggers in the fashion, beauty, health, travel, food, motherhood, etc. fields that are either staying consistent with their content, have launched a new blog, and/or securing partnerships with well-known brands. Before I started my blog I did not know there were so many boss blogger babes in Detroit, but now I know there are countless and it’s so inspiring. Detroit is making a come back and to be involved in spreading a better name for this city is so cool to be a part of. Through Femology‘s events and this one in particular I am starting to make connections that can lead to mentor-ships and friendships and I thank the lovely ladies at Femology for this.
